So here we are in Germany nearing the end of an extremely gruelling but exciting year for FR. We’ve had a lot of fun and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all. Thanks to everyone who came to see us again and thanks to any newcomers you dragged with you to the show!!
We’d love to name every city and show our appreciation but since you’re probably Reading this on your lunch break or while you wait for facebook to load we’ll keep it short! Thank You. We also have some exciting news to share with you all. This week we signed a deal with Atlantic Records and after some time off next year to write new material we will be releasing record no. 4 with this great label. It feels very special to be part of a label with such a great history and we’re really looking forward to working with everybody we have met to this point.
We also feel it’s important to mention how great the past 4 years have been with FatCat and although it is time to move on we are greatly appreciative of the amazing job they’ve done. Our last single from Winter of Mixed Drinks will be released next week and of course we still have a tour to complete so we best be off now.
I think your facebook page has now loaded too!! We look forward to seeing everyone in the UK over the next couple of weeks. See you all at ATP otherwise known as the Frightened Rabbit Office Christmas Party!!

You guys were AWESOME in San Diego. I had a great night, through and through. The only down fall to the night was that I wasn’t able to meet you guys! But I am looking forward to seeing you guys again, and am greatly anticipating the release of your next cd! Unfortunately I was unable to get out to Pittsburgh for when you guys were out there at Diesel (I’m originally from there). But, hopefully around this time next year I’ll be able to see you guys out there since I’ll be moving back out there for some time. I would love to see one of my favorite bands in my favorite city! Best of wishes for your next cd!

Hi, FR -
My friends and I were really looking forward to your gig on Monday 8th Dec in the Barrowlands. Unfortunately, the weather conspired, and with the M8, M9 closed and trains and buses off, we were unable to get over from Edinburgh… The six of us are utterly gutted. There was no way to get there, and I know you guys will have put on a great show, but the Barrowlands were less than helpful or sympathetic to our plight. Nae chance of a refund! I’m sure we weren’t the only ones.
Please please play Edinburgh soon – I know there’s no chance of guaranteeing we can get hold of tickets before they sell out, but I don’t think I can handle an epic wait!

Guys, your last New York Show at the Bowery was seriously the best concert I have ever been to. I almost dont want to see you guys again because how could anything top that performance (dont worry I will still come again). Please come back to New York soon. You guys ROCK!
